The purpose of this website is to provide viewers with knowledge of the secondary transition process to facilitate student progress toward attainment of their post-secondary goals.  On this site you will find resources for students, parents, educators and agency resources.

SPEDTex is the Special Education Information Center, a resource backed by TEA to inform and support parents, teachers, and anyone committed to the success of children with disabilities.

Additionally, LEAs must be sure to provide this information to families of students with disabilities without internet access in the most appropriate manner for their local communities. 

Provides families with information regarding IDEA, Dyslexia, MTSS, and Section 504.

Publicly Report (recommendation to post on the LEA website) if: Significant Disproportionate (SD Year 3) and upon review any revision of policies, practices, and procedures used in the identification or placement in particular education settings, including disciplinary removals are made.
